The RAP4 T68 is a semi-automatic (it can be upgraded to electronic with fully automatic and burst options).
The spring-fed magazine holds 20 rounds and is removable just like the real thing. The Generation 7 T68 is ready to use First Strike rounds (requires First Strike compatible magazine).
To keep paintballs from rolling out of the barrel, there are dual ball detents.
The Flexi-Air System makes the T68 capable of handling all sorts of tank, stock, and remote configurations.
Unlike previous T68 models, the Generation 7 T68's safety is now a thumb switch, which makes it even more realistic. Everything about this gun makes it look like the real thing.
The T68 is constructed entirely out of metal. The bolt, however, is delrin. This is to prevent metal-on-metal damage that occurs in paintball markers that have metal bolts. There's a 5 year warranty from manufacturing or material defects. That's pretty impressive.
The T68 weighs around 6.5 lbs.
Upgrades
This is where the T68 really shines. It really is a blank canvas for any MilSim and scenario paintballer to create their own masterpiece. With all the upgrades and accessories available, this paintball gun can be made to look like an AK-47, M16A2, M18, M203, M4, a sniper rifle complete with a bipod and a scope, and more.
Upgrading is no problem as every part can be removed and replaced, and accessories can easily be added. Rails, stocks, scopes, sights, bipods, foregrips, and even grenade launchers are available upgrades.
There's a variety of stocks available. There's ones that hold 12 grams, a 5 oz CO2 tank, 13 ci 3000 psi HPA tank, or ones that will hook up to a remote line.
If semi-auto isn't fast enough, RAP4 sells an e-trigger that will give you burst and full-auto options.
If a 20 round magazine isn't enough for you, the SplitFire Dual Feed Adapter allows you to use a magazine and a hopper. With this upgrade, if you run out of paint in your hopper, with the turn of a dial you can switch to the magazine. This also means you can store First Strike rounds in your magazine and normal paintballs in the hopper. If you need precision shots, you can easily switch to First Strike rounds by turning the dial, and then switch back to your hopper as needed.
